This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how Impactive Inc and its related companies (“Company”) collect, use and share personal information of consumer users of its website, www.Impactive.io and its Mobile App (the “Product”). This Policy also applies to any of our other websites and apps that post this Policy. This Policy does not apply to websites that post different statements.
We do not sell user data to third parties. When you send messages on behalf of a campaign, we share with that campaign your user id, the actions you’ve participated in, the number of messages you’ve sent and which voters you’ve contacted so far. This ensures that campaigns can measure their progress and use their resources effectively to get as many of their voters to the polls as possible, and that's why you're using Impactive. You can delete your information from our servers at any time by clicking the "delete contacts" button on the app's settings page.
Information You Give Us.
We collect your name, email address, phone number, username, password as well as other information you directly give us on our Product such as your phonebook contacts. The fields we request access to for phonebook contacts include: first, middle, and last names, company name, email, phone, and address.
Information We Get From Others.
We may get information about you from other sources. We may add this to information we get from this Product. This allows us to locate accurate public data for you, such as polling place and registration dates.
Information Automatically Collected.
We automatically log information about you and your computer. For example, when visiting our Product, we log your computer operating system type, browser type, browser language, the website you visited before browsing to our Product, pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, access times and information about your use of and actions on our Product. This information is used to improve the user experience of our Product and is not sold.
Cookies.
We may log information using "cookies." Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our Product. For example, cookies are what allow you to return to our dashboard and remain logged in. This type of information is collected to make the Product more useful to you and to tailor it to meet your special interests and needs.

App's use of information received from Gmail APIs will adhere to Google's Limited Use Requirements.

Our marketing emails tell you how to “opt-out.” If you opt out, we may still send you non-marketing emails. Non-marketing emails include emails about your accounts and our business dealings with you.

In the same way you provide Impactive with access to personal information you may remove access to personal information at any time by updating your settings in the Product. You may also destroy the information stored about your phonebook contacts at any time from Impactive’s servers.
You can typically remove and reject cookies from our Product with your browser settings. Many browsers are set to accept cookies until you change your settings. If you remove or reject our cookies, it could affect how our Product works for you.
We use certain physical, managerial, and technical safeguards that are designed to improve the integrity and security of personal information that we collect and maintain. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or store on the Product, and you do so at your own risk. We also cannot guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
If we learn of a data security incident that compromises or appears to compromise your personally identifiable information, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. We may also post a notice through the Product if a data security incident occurs.
The Product is hosted in the United States and is intended for users located within the United States. If you choose to use the Product from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to the United States for storage and processing. Also, we may transfer your data from the U.S. to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating the Product. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of third-party sites or services to which links or access are provided through the Product.
